The Ultimate Secret To Really Achieve Your Goal

If you ask a hundred people on how to set and achieve their goals you will have one hundred answers on how to do it. They will have their own version on what works and what’s not. All of them are valid and there are true because they have prove that it worked, at least for them, right.

So out of hundreds of approaches or strategies to achieve your goals which one would you choose and how do you know it’s going to work for you.  Which one is the best? I got news for you, actually there’s no such thing as the best goal setting formula because each has its own strengths and weaknesses.

Therefore looking for the best strategy is not your best decision when it comes to goal setting and achieving it. Rather you should look beyond the goal setting formula.

If you want to know the formula to achieve or set your goal just google it. There are lots of information, ideas and strategies on how to do it. Google can help you with it. So the answer on how you can achieve your goal is not really in the strategy or formula, rather it is in the implementation stage.

You haven’t achieved your goal yet because you are not serious to achieve it. Don’t get me wrong, I know you are serious about your goal, who doesn’t right, but you are not serious enough when it comes to doing the things that you must in order to make it a reality.

For example normally every December we come up with our new year’s resolutions. We set all sort of goals that we would like to achieve in the following year, right? But how come almost every year we fail to achieve it. We know what we want and we even know what are the things that we must do, yet how come we still fail to achieve it. The answer lies not in our planning or goal setting strategy but it is in the daily routines that we do in order to achieve it.

The secret of achieving your goal is not in the strategy or the plan  that you have in place, rather it’s in the discipline that you either have or have not in pursuing your goal.

The main reason why we fail with our new year’s resolutions is because we are not doing the things that we must do as outlined in our plan. For example, let say that you want to lose 10 kilograms or 22 pounds in 2 months and you have set you daily exercise routine and diet plan for it. Will you lose those 10 kilos in 2 months? Definitely, if you just follow through with whatever plan that you have come up with, without giving any excuse for not doing it.

If you are supposed to exercise at 6:00 am every day from Monday to Friday then all you need to do is jut do it. Don’t think about it, just go for it. Every day at 6:00 am from Monday to Friday do you exercise no excuse. As for your daily meal, just follow your diet plan and that’s it.

The moment you give yourself just one excuse not to follow through with your plan on any particular day, then that’s the starting point for you to give yourself more excuses thus leading to failure.

So it’s not about the plan my friend rather it’s about your discipline in carrying out your planned routines to achieve your goal.
